After an intense nomination period, the submission window for the 2024 Brighters Executive Committee election has officially closed. This pivotal phase saw a surge of engagement from our dedicated members, showcasing their commitment to shaping the future of our organization.

The deadline for nominations was May 4th, with voting members seizing the opportunity to put themselves forward for consideration. The nomination process required candidates to fulfill specific eligibility criteria and submit a nomination fee of 50৳ BDT along with necessary documentation.

With the nomination submission phase concluded, the focus now shifts to the forthcoming election. From May 5th to May 9th, a dedicated Election Promotion Period will unfold, providing members with invaluable insights into the candidates vying for leadership roles within Brighters. This period serves as an opportunity for members to familiarize themselves with the vision, experience, and qualifications of each candidate.

The climax of this democratic process will be on May 10th, designated as Election Day. Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes, likely through an online membership portal : www.member.brighters.org, to elect the individuals they believe will best steer Brighters toward its mission of advocacy and action for the people and the planet.
