On February 5, 2025, Brighters and Bangladesh Youth Climate School organized the Training on Funding Strategy for Youth-Led Climate Action, where young participants were guided on important aspects of funding and how to get national & international funds.

The training was facilitated by Saidur Rahman Siam, Founder & Director, Brighters Society of Bangladesh talked about the documentation needed if you want to apply for national & international fund such as organogram, policies, importance of proposal writing

Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan, Coordinator, Global Platform, ActionAid Bangladesh talked about how global platform works with young people & how come these young people can get connected with Global Platform. Also as an individual how can someone can get connected with GP.

Sabbir Hasan, Deputy Manager, Program Development and Donor Relation, APON FOUNDATION talked about how we need to work with visibility if we want foreign funds. Also talked about the importance of social media in funding, how can we find a donor & if we get one, how should we communicate with him/her, the usage of language while talking. Lastly he talked about the perfect shaping of proposal writing.

The introduction session was conducted by Fariha Aumi, Chair, Brighters Society of Bangladesh.

This training program aims to inspire young people the importance of funding & the important aspects while searching for funding.
